WHat IYO is the most comfortable pump?

I have bailey nurture III and medela harmony and BOTH seem to do a number on me no matter the suction setting... Thanks!

I bet not. A lot of women struggle with pumping. Either it's painful for them regardless of which pump they use, or their bodies just don't respond well to pumps. Have you tried a manual pump such as the Avent Isis? You can control the suction by hand. Some mom's find they really like hand pumps because of the control they have. Best thing is, they're cheap too! About $40-50ish.

I have the medela harmony...its ok but there seems to be a "seam" if you will, inside the flange and i think that may rub and cause discomfort. I haven't tried the isis. I don't pump often (sahm) but have needed to more recently (goin w/ grandma, medical stuff ect) and would like to either pump while nursing on occasion to freeze or early am...

u are EPing aren't you? I commend you! I hate pumping BUT almost went the eping route (thank goodness for the LLL leader/medela dealer that I called that talked me out of it!!!!)

I WAS EPing. ;) The past 2 days I have been able to get my DS back on my breast at night! I work FT so I still have to pump at work, but I'm just sooo excited about physically nursing DS even a little bit! I posted ia thread about my new achievement on the general boards! :D

I use the Symphony by Medela ... I've never had a problem with it at all...but I've heard other women complain.

I have two pumps at home. The first one is a double electric brest pump by Evenflo, this one works but is not very comfortable and is a two handed job. It was cheep and baught as an emergency pump. The second one is an Ameda Purley Yours. This one is comfortable and you only need one arm (if your cordinated enough, I have heard some complain about it but I don't have a problem). I noticed that if my nipples are not in the middle of the horns then that will affect comfort and pumping output.

I prefer the Medela PIS.
