I'm 19 weeks today, measuring at 24 weeks for a singleton pregnancy. I am going to be enormous.

And woot! First post on this board with the new system. ;)

Congrats Heather,

I am glad that things are going well for you. I am guessing you are past the shock and denial phase now...

Thanks everyone. Funnily enough, DH's cousin is ALSO having twins next March and the original due date was exactly a week after ours. My FIL thinks its some kind of conspiracy that we're both talking about delivering early. I keep trying to explain that twins just show up early! I don't know the sexes for their babies yet. :)

This is what my belly looked like at 20 weeks pregnant

These are my stretchmarks from ONE baby. I'm doomed, aren't I?

I posted these on a thread on the Debate forum, after folks said I didn't look pregnant with twins at a GTG. I think I do. You have to keep in mind that I'm at the point where most folks aren't even looking pregnant. I've already got the pregnancy waddle too!

Your tummy looks wonderful.
I am sure it feels bigger to you than it looks.
Yep! I think you are going to get some stretch marks to add to your collection. Sassy

Heather, you look great! You are going to be huge. (Why sugarcoat it?) But, that is okay. It means your babies are growing well and staying inside. Woot!

There isn't a person alive, except perhaps another mother of twins, who will say you look anything except normal until you get up to full size for a singleton and are still having to admit that you are only six or seven months along. Oh, and all twins don't come early. You are a tall person and you could conceivably carry full-term. I went to 41 weeks and probably would have gone longer without having my membranes stripped. Just sayin'.

You look wonderful! But why wouldn't you? You're growing two beautiful babies!

(ds's guidance counselor is due with triplets in 14 weeks. They are hoping to make it at least 6 more... she's on total bed rest right now)

A very beautiful Twin belly!!!

Heh, I'm hoping for full term, but my OB told me to realistically expect 36-39 weeks. Since I already have a C-section and they're concerned with uterine rupture, I can only hope to go full term before they get concerned enough that they do the C-section.

Pshaw! My doctor told me that he wouldn't be surprised to see me show up in labor at 34 weeks. This was based on, well, nothing to do with me and just some idea of what "typically" happens with twins.

Did I mention that I went to 41 weeks?

Kidding aside, I mention this so that you can hopefully prepare mentally for carrying a big load for a long time. If you get paroled a bit early, then bonus!
