I just started watching this show in the past few months. I really like it.

But... did anyone else find this weeks episode a little weird? The transistion from stalking the girl to sleeping with her and then proposing just did seem quite right to me.

I must have missed that episode. I've been watching the reruns for a while though. Is this Rose we're talking about - Charlie's downstairs neighbor?

I love this show!

They have a history though. So while it's techincally stalking, hmmm, I chalked it up to Charlie not getting what he wants. Sleeping w/ her, well, it wasn't hard to get her in bed before either. I thought she was stringing him along all that time hoping he would offer her the money.

Now as for the proposal.........clever editing or a hella surpise! He did just say he thought he was ready to settle down and leave the old Charlie behind.

This was the first episode that I had seen the girl (was that Jenny McCarthy?). I never got the impression that she was stringing him along for the money. Afterwards I thought maybe she had done it because her dad told her to and then when she didn't get money from the dad she figured what the hell.

The proposal shocked me too.

The show is amusing. Not much shocks me about it. Southpark still shocks me.

Maybe shocked is a strong word for a sitcom... :)

I've never been able to get into watching SouthPark.

We love this show! But, we're only catching it on reruns; watching new episodes is too hard with DH's schedule.

No, she's been on before. In fact she was a highend car saleswoman and suckered Charlie into a crazy expensive Lotus or something, and forced him to sign the papers or she would tell that they did the nasty. Her dad found out and told Charlie he tried to warn him about her.

Her Dad found out about their relationship, but told them to end it because he didn't want to keep secrets from Charlie's mom.
