of unanswered calls and emails, not too mention the unpaid doctors bills, I finally get an email. Only in response to me asking if I should tell our kids he's died (TIC), which has made everything magically better. "I' got serious issues right now" I should have known. Silly, silly mommy.

Thankfully all I have are these kids.

I'm really lucky, my dh can be ass but he does everything he can. He grew up without a dad so he's tried really hard to be there for his kids. He is currently wearing shoes with a hole in them so that he could buy dd something nice for her birthday.

He still remembers the year he couldn't play football b/c his dad didn't pay any child support and didn't send the money after he told him straight out "i'll pay for you to play football" the money never came but fil got a new horse and a new truck and a new house.

I can feel your pain Nikki. My XH lives 15 minutes from us, but rarely saw the kids because he was out of work. He couldn't take them because he couldn't afford to feed them! And rather than hang out with them for the day or call or come see their baseball games, he ignored them until they missed him so much they called him.

Then he gets a job, but can only see them Sunday and Monday because he works every other day. But, he needs time off too, so he can only take them every other Sunday. But the kids like to go to church, so could I keep them until after church and drop them off?? And he's been skipping out on seeing the kids baseball games because he is "working" at his side painting job. AND, if he does show up to baseball, he's drunk.

I'll do without him, thanks!

My took off with my kids to South Carolina. Seriously, took them for a weekend and just left, attempting never to return. They just didn't come back.

Loooong story. His wife was humiliated in a court room, he was shot down and ripped apart and they both left in tears. The icing on the cake was when she got up in court, snapped at the judge yelling, "You can't even take her testimony, she's atheist!".

Being 8 months pregnant was good, too. She was desperate for a baby. (I was 8 months pregnant, not her)

OMG..if I get into it, I'll surely be late. Definately something I'll write up later, though.
