one breast not pumping

hello,
i had a baby boy on saturday, and have been feeding him since. i started pumping yesterday with an automatic pump and i have not got much of anything out of it, while the right one has been fine. is this normal? does the same thing happen to the baby when i feed him?

It is normal to have one hand that is bigger than the other, and normal to have one breast that is larger/produce more than the other. Perhaps in a day or two the output will increase :) It takes a full 10 days for your "full" milk to come in; what you have now is transitional milk.
