Really sore nipple

Hello,
I was wondering waht else to do about sore nipples. I have always been sensitive on my left nipple..it seemed to stop for awhile but is hurting again. i use lanolin but it doesn't seem to help. Any other suggestions??
I have been pumping from it because it hurts less and feeding more on the right side, is this ok??

It is fine to pump, but a lot of work though sometimes definitely necessary. I suggest you see a lactation consultant, IBCLC.
