I just weaned my 18 month old about a week ago. I was feeding her for 3 minutes on each side for her nap and then again at bedtime. I did that for about 3 weeks before weaning totally last week.
Now, my left breast feels slightly full and is sore to the touch, whereas my right breast feels totally empty and has such a slight discomfort that I have to give a good squeeze before noticing any soreness.
Is it normal to have the breast so uneven?? I expected a little discomfort after weaning but I thought it would be a little more symmetrical.
I do still leak a little milk out of both breasts daily or every few days.
