I've figured out that I have an overactive letdown so I've been trying the block feedings. It seems that its the same thing as feeding on one side... Anyhow my question is, how long do I keep it up? It seems to be helping already.

I always suggest until your body adjusts :) - which is when the leaking starts to slow down -

Well she usally nurses about 10-15 min then falls asleep. An hour later she then eats another 10-15 min. Then sleeps for 2 more hrs of so. So I feed her on ONE side both of those time. I'm counting that as ONE feeding, and start on other breast for her next feeding.. So I guess I am not block feeding, but feeding on one side???..

hmm well that doesn't answer my question bcuz when I nursed my older daughter, I always leaked right up til she weaned at 14 mo.. but she never had any problems nursing.

As she is nursing, do some breast massage from the chest wall down to facilitate hind milk transfer throughout the feed. This may keep her fuller longer!

try a dairy elimination for 48 hours, see if it clears up the stinky poops! Don't eat any ice cream, milk, yogurt, cheese.......

I don't really have that much dairy in the first place. Don't eat ice cream, yogurt, or cheese. I only have a tiny bit (1/8c) of milk in my oatmeal.. SO guess I will eliminate it. lol.
