my 4 month old daughter is rejecting my breast. The dr said at her 4 month check up last week that she had a sore throat and her teeth are coming out. Few days laters she started to turn around when I try to bf. I just came back from the dr and the sore throat is better. Dr prescribed Zantac for Gerd. She used to spit up and throw up a lot, but now that has gone away. My milk supply is running low, so I have been pumping a couple times today. She will take the bottle, but I heard it may not be a good idea. I also continue to offer every hour or so. I hold her and try to stay close all day. I'm only able to feed while she is sleeping. What can I do?

At 4 months she can easily go from breast to bottle and back. She is so interested in the world around her, it's more of checking out everything than rejecting the breast :)
Try to pump at the same time every day; this keeps the supply at a constant level.

She was doing that last couple weeks and I covered her to help. Now is worse. She is not so big so I worry. Is Zantac safe for a 12lb baby? The Pharmacist seemed concerned

I would eliminate all dairy from your diet - milk, cheese, yogurt, butter and ice cream for 48 hours. Also stop the zantac. it could be a milk protein allergy. See if this helps.
