**My ideas are mainly couponing only. I will add on more as I think of them!!**

We use coupons and winetags (coupons that come on bottles of wine). Not only the coupons from the Sunday papers but also the ones you find in store, through mfg's web sites, etc. Wine tags are free in Oregon at least, you do not need to buy the wine in order to take the tag off. Many winetags are for dollars off meat, veggies, etc.

We then pair coupons with sale items and get as much as we can.

I get many things for free or close too it. I keep my eye on freebie/coupon web sites to see what the latest deals are.

Last year around this time, Target had a $1 off coupon for Suave products. I got over 300 Suave items in the matter of two weeks or so (shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, deodorant, gel, body wash, etc) and paid maybe $15 total (for $300 worth of personal care products!). We are now stocked on those items for a good 2-3 years at least. I also made donations to women's shelters. [Smile]

I sometimes buy coupon lots off of eBay. For instance, Crest used to put out $1 off coupons for any size toothpaste. I would then spend $2 for a lot of 20-30 coupons or so and get that many of the trial size toothpastes from the store for free. We have probably 100 trial sizes of toothpaste in a Rubbermaid bin in our shed. [Big Grin]

I write manufacturers and praise them on their products. Sometimes (rarely) I have to write and say what I didn't like (like when one box of Huggies did NOT work like they were supposed too!). Most of the time I receive coupons for both praising and complaining.

As I said, the box of Huggies did NOT work at all, major problems (defective box of diapers!). They sent me $22 in coupons for items made my Kimberly Clark (bath tissue, etc).

We praised Rubbermaid once.. we also had a digital pic of my boys in a Rubbermaid container sleeping together (they fell asleep that way!) and sent that in just for a laugh. They sent me two $6 off coupons, so I got a laundry basket and bin for free.

About a year ago, Electrasol had coupons via those Smartsource blinkie machines in stores. They are the red machines hanging on the aisle shelves that spit out coupons. It was $2 off Electrasol gel tabs, mfg coupon (not store coupon) so it could be used anywhere they sold these tabs. I took them to Target and got 50 boxes of the tabs for free (they were $1.99, so I made one cent off of every box). I then donated some and gave some to my Mom and her co-workers, etc.

Albertson's (a grocery store here) takes competitors coupons and they double up to .50 cents as well. That comes in handy with sales and good coupons that come out.

My freezer outside in the shed is full of bread, rolls, juice, etc all for free with use of coupons. Not to mention my 20+ boxes of Capri Suns (not the best thing but I like them, my kids don't get them!) that I got for free w/ a Kraft coupon from a year ago.

I spend maybe 2-3 hours a week going through coupons and sales ads. I spend about 15 minutes each day looking at various couponing forums for the latest deals. I have a binder with sport card insert holders and all of my coupons go in those. The binder goes with me everywhere just in case I find a deal when not looking for it. [Smile]

There is also refunding, but that I haven't gotten into too much yet. There's a great site devoted too it and some couponing. They have a great magazine that comes out monthly and is worth the money for it! They also have a great web site. [Big Grin]
