Does anybody have one they would perhaps like to get rid of? I am trying to find a hospital grade pump, I was renting a Lactina Select but it was too expensive to keep doing it long term. I've also tried contacting government & hospital resources but they were of no help. I'm just looking for any hospital grade pump, I don't care what type. Any ideas where to find one that won't cost an arm & a leg?

Wow, I don't know where one would buy a hospital grade pump, TBH. The only possibility I can think of would be to ask the rental place if you could buy one at cost, from them.
I saw in another post that your baby was unable to nurse; have you looked into seeing if your pump rental could possibly be covered by your health insurance?
And not to make light of it, but renting a pump is still cheaper than buying formula. ;) And *high fives* for continuing to give your babe the best. :D

PAK
Ive seen hospital pumps on ebay for like $399... Dunno where one would buy one cheaper than that...and atleast they can be used by more than one person so you can always try and resell it...

sorry i forgot to ask. WOuld you qualify for WIC in your area? If you are exclusively pumping, they will lend you a hospital pump for as long as you need it and meet their criteria.

I don't qualify for WIC, they said we make too much money (which I don't quite understand, but whatever) and I have Kaiser, it's an HMO but I never thought about looking into seeing if they would pay for or part of the pump. That's a great idea.

I found out when the visiting nurse came to my house after the baby came home and she told me.
