I can see the difference between debates and general as being one is support, and one isn't?
On debates if you post what's for dinner, you may get debate about the healthiness of your meal. ;)
on general if you post what's for dinner, others will post what is for dinner too.

Ideally the chit chat that isn't discussion and debate about interesting topics would move from debate to the general board--
for instance the info on celebrities would go to general, not to debate.

but the general board has it's own posters who post chit chat to each other on the general board.
and the debate board has it's own posters who post chit chat to each other on the debate board.
so I'm not sure.
kind of feels like the general breastfeeding board's members and good feel has been broken up, not sure where they will settle.

the parenting and pregnancy board (the mom to mom part at the beginning are unnecessary words)
is mostly pregnancy questions right now. and some parenting questions are on debate and general
I'm not sure if it would be better or would be much WORSE if the mod were to move threads to the "right" forums. ??????????

and shouldn't most of the general breastfeeding board posts history have been moved to the mom to mom breastfeeding board so people can look back to find similar answers to what they are asking?
Even if they used search to find similar posts, would they know to search the general board or only the breastfeeding boards?
