appetite change now breasts engorged!

My seven week old baby is now going from a 2 hour feeding schedule to a 3-4 hour feeding schedule during the day, and sometimes a 4-5 hour schedule at night. He is gaining weight like crazy (born 8 lbs. 6 oz. now about 12 lbs. 6 oz.) but now my breasts are engorged and I am worried my supply will decrease since he's not feeding as much! I generally pump at least once at night or in the evening since my breasts are like rocks!

What have you other moms done? and will the schedule affect my milk supply or will it just adapt?

Your milk supply will adapt. That's the amazing thing about breasts; they know what to do. If babe steps up and starts eating more often, guess what? Yep! Those breasts will make more for him. Trust your body and what it was designed to do, nourish your babe.

If you're engorged, pump only to decrease the discomfort; pumping more than that (emptying the breast) and you'll still be telling them to make more. ;)

What a great weight gain, momma! Sounds like things are going fabulously for both of you!
