I want to take dd swimming with me all summer. I know to watch for the sun and all, but what about chlorine? I have a community pool with no kiddie pool at my townhome complex and I want to get dd to love the water as much as I.

Is there anything about the temperature of the water? I know in PA, pool water is on the chilly side. Is there a temperature that the pool should be before exposing and infant to? I dont care too much about temp... I love swimming and playing in the pool. I just wanted to see what precautions I should/could take with dd this summer.

I wouldn't worry about it. We had one of those little floaty seat things for dd when she was little. She loved it. She was in the pool at 2-3 months old, because ds wanted to swim. It never seemed to bother her.

We would always take a bath after swimming, just to wash all the pool water off.

Yep, just a bath afterwards. I wouldn't take a 6 month old in the pool every day, but that's just me.

As for temp, you're going to want pretty warm or to have the time in there pretty short. Babies cannot warm themselves up like we can---you'll see though, how quickly she becomes a shivering pile of babe and then you'll know her limits.
