Kaitlyn (my 7 yr. old) made all A's on her final report card!!

She had perfect attendance this year.

And she made ALL STAR'S in softball!

WTG Kaitlyn!! Trying to figure out what we're gonna do to celebrate all her accomplishments. Maybe take her to dinner. Or buy her something. I dunno. But I am so proud of my baby girl!!

That's awesome Jecca. Ask her what she would like to do or what she would want, that way ya can't get it wrong ;) Man i would be proud.

Nice job! That must be so exciting! I say you do both - buy her alittle something and give it to her at dinner :)

That is awesome! I know my dd would appreciate going out to a special dinner. I would be so proud!!

Side note... my 3rd grader just gets a number 1-3, 2 being average. Does your dd's school give out A-E or (F)?? Just curious. I don't know when my dd will start getting regular grades, she starts middle school in 5th so I imagine it will be then.

Good idea Jane. I think she would love going to dinner, but dd2 will most likely be there too. So to make it special for dd1 I can give her a gift there. Thanks!

Olianna, yes, dd gets real grades. This was her first year getting them (1st grade). She didn't get real grades last year. They do the whole S -satisfactory, US - unsatisfactory, ect. She was actually only graded in Math & Reading/Language though. So, it was like only 2 letter grades each report card. And still a few S's and whatnot.

We took her to this Japanese restaurant that we all love last night. Then on the way home we gave her $10. It was like we had given her a million. lol
