I think ds is weaning from talk BM in the bottle...
he drinks less and less at daycare but he nurses like a champ at home...
if that's the case, I'm going to pump just for a lil bit longer so I have some j.i.c. milk

I don't know how old your ds is and you didn't ask for opinions but since you posted, I'll believe you are interested in conversation.

Depending on his age, this might be a stage and in a few days/weeks/etc, he could go back to needing more. It is much easier to keep a pumping schedule and supply level than it is to try to restore it later. Once you let it go, it can be hard to once again return to those levels of pumping. So, only let it go if you are certain you won't need it.

I know you said you'd pump just a lil bit longer for j.i.c. milk. Good thinking, I'm just saying, don't make the lil bit longer time shorter than you should - :)

Congrat's on your lil prince growing up though. It's always bittersweet for me as they leave one stage and enter another. But, it also very sweet and enduring to see the new things they learn and do.
