We went to Weaver St Market for dinner and cake. People from the tables around us joined us and it became a party. Then the kids realized we'd had no ice cream with out cake, convinced Daeus to say "ice cream", so we went across the street to the local dairy's ice cream shop and had ice cream. I tried to take a video of it, but it was too dark. This kid had SUCH a sugar high. He was just thrashing around and squealing.

He did also get to play in a river. He just loves playing in the river. We can put him down on the shore, covered in big pebbles and he'll scoot (he doesn't crawl, he scoots on his behind) right into the water, no hesitation at all. Fortunately, it's not very deep and he can scoot around where he wants, about waist deep.

We also had the excitement of sharing the beaver dam created wading pool with a cute little snake, who was not the least bit aggressive despite stupid humans acting like maniacs and poking him with sticks.
