Hi everyone!

Wireless is touch and go, and I'm still not able to access many sites. My dh said if they can't get it fixed, he'll get me a Verizon wireless card for my laptop.

I'm doing ok. Not too much of a change. Still leaking amniotic fluid. I'm not having any contractions, no signs of infection, and not dialated. The baby weighs close to 2 lbs I believe. I got a stretcher shower today, and boy did that feel good. Clean hair! Yay! I'm still hooked up to monitors and iv's, and getting antibiotics.

I'm hoping to hear from the LC staff today, as I want to discuss nursing a preemie. Nursing was a huge priority w/ Emily, even when she was in the NICU for jaundice, she got ebm, never formula. I'm bound and determined to give this little one the best start I can.

I'm just trying to buy my time here, while my baby cooks longer.

Emily is really starting to show signs of sadness, which in turn just breaks my heart. She had a birthday party to go to this morning at Libby Lu's (hair, nails, make up kinda thing), which is one of her favorite places to go. She told dh she didn't feel like going. I hate that she is sad. Dh is trying so hard to stay strong for her, but he's feeling pretty sad himself. I really am trying to look on the bright side, but it's so hard. I know I shouldn't allow myself to get upset, but I just can't help it. Everything about this situation just makes me cry uncontrollably!

It does make me feel better to come here and chat. For that I thank each one of you!

I'm so sorry that Emily is sad. I'm still thinking of you and hoping you can hang in there a while longer.

I am glad that Baby is staying put for the time being.

I am sorry Emily has had a hard time. Has she been able to come see you? Who has been watching her while DH is at work? Does the hospital have anyone that she can talk to (I think many do)
