DD's teeth chipping and cracking.

A couple months ago I noticed a samll chip in one of DD's front teeth, and this morning the other one is chipped pretty bad also. The Enamel on her teeth has alot of cracks in it also, and lately her teeth are starting to kind of yellow. Of course we brush her teeth twice a day.

She does have several food allergies, one being dairy, but I try to give her alot of other foods with calcium in them. She also eats alot of fruit, but that and fresh veggies are her only options. Could this be due to lack of calcium in her diet, or even the acid in her fruit? She also had GERD as a baby and spit up horribly, so I thought maybe that could be lonked somehow.

We don't have dental inssurance, but I am still going to call and make her a appt. on Monday.

Ok, some one on my FA board suggested a possible celiac, saying that their FA children had this same issue and it turned out to be that. *sigh* I hope I do not have to pull more foods. Please oh please don't let it be celiac.

She does get an adaquate amopunt of floride, so I know it is not that.

have you taken her to a dentist, or dental clinic for a check up. It really needs to be checked out by a professional, even if you can't afford to do anything about it.

No not yet, but I did say in my post that I was going to make her an appt. Monday. If there is something that need to be done about it, I will find a way to afford it.;)
