He is currently holding our sleeping 13-month old and eating a plate of potatoes and two chicken sandwhiches! When our middle girl was born (our first together) he couldn't do anything while he was holding her! I am so proud of him!

Aw... that reminds me of my dh when Maddie was first born... I remember him asking me " could you hold her I have to open a box of mac and cheese." I laughed really hard till I realized he was serious... Lol... :)

That is good. My DH always offers to hold the baby while eating because he knows I am home all day with the kids and my meals during the day are always cut short. So when it comes dinner time he will take the baby so I can have 1 meal in peace.

Alright!!! That's great! Did he like it? Feel empowered that he can indeed multitask/eat?
now, where's a picture? (;))

That's why I do alot more eating after the kids are asleep than I should. It's so nice to eat without small people saying, "Can I have some?" or babies needing to be held, so they can mess up your stuff! Lol!

ROFL! My dh didn't take care of any babies until we had some. I grew up doing it so it has come naturally to me, he's had to learn. He still drags the old knuckles though, but that's a good thing cuz it rubs some of the hair off.
