We are okay! Our county (along with Mrs. Hoppes') is under a state of emergency and the flooding is higher than dh has ever seen it. The authorities are calling for people with boats to volunteer to help rescue people.

I'm just in shock that the Coast Guard are in Indiana, of all places.

A lot of people are without electricity, water, and even their homes. :( It's really sad.

On a positive note, my town has decided that they must put in tornado/disaster sirens after this crazy week.

Whew! I was watching CNN when they started showing the flooding and I was worried. They said that the floods hit fast. I am so glad that you all are okay.


Wow, your town really stepped up. :rolleyes: I shouldn't be sarcastic, I guess, but what were they thinking?!?
