Here are some of the pics that my DH drew for me in highschool. The first one is now a tattoo on my lower back. But without the names. Does anyone else have a very articulate person in the family?

I have soo many more pics that he has drawn. I was haivng a hard time deciding which ones to put up here. I have like 3 sketch pads with pics in it and I also have like 2 folders with pics in it. He loves to draw.

I, too, can be articulate but not so much artistic.

My mom, OTOH, can paint scenery. Actually, she can paint cartoon characters pretty damn well, too. One of these days I will go snap some pics of the paintings she has of hers in her house. I've offered her $500 for one of them, she turned it down. :(

Those are really awesome! I'd love to see more if you have any!

My mother is a very good artist. She does oil paintings, ceramic sculptures and drawings as well. One year for my little sister's birthday party she drew a huge picture of Rainbow Brite and we played "Pin the ponytail on Rainbow Brite".

Unfortunately the artistic gene totally skipped over me, but my 16 yo niece, Samantha is also a really good artist. She has won a few awards for her work. Here are some of her drawings:

and Nathan, my boyfriend, is also very artistic. He has drawn some AMAZING pictures. One year he didn't have any money to get me something for Christmas, so he drew me a picture of Judy Garland and had it framed. I don't have it scanned but I do have a picture of the first horse he ever drew...
