Madison is 10 months. She has slowly started cutting back on nursing and now she has stopped completely. She wants nothing to do with the boob. She usually get 7-8oz of EBM before bed every night. I dont know if this is just a nursing strike or she is actually weaning. I would like to get get back on the boob but if not how much and how often should she have EBM ? I was thinking like a sippy cup of EBM before each meal and bed time. Any advice on getting her back on the boob? If I can not get her back on the boob does the sippy cup of EBM before each meal sound ok? If so how much in the sippy cup? Thanks!

The sippy cup sounds awesome! Does she exhibit any other behaviors that are not usual for her?
She will look for comfort from the breast on her own time. Especially at night I am sure :)

She has been sick the past few days with a sore throat... It really surprised me because usually when she is sick she only want me and the boob 24/7... She is just very active now trying to walk and does not want to sit still to nurse... Makes me sad! I will miss nursing her!

Has she been checked for an ear infection?

No she has not... She little voice is hoarse but getting better... No fever... She has a really bad rash that I can not get to go away... I mean like her skin looks raw... We are going to call the doctor tomorrow about the rash... Would she have symptoms if she had an ear infection?

Whatever fever reducer your doctor recommends...it could also be fifths disease...rash symptoms, fever, sore throat, or strep can make a rash as well.she should not be around pregnant women if she does have fifths.
