Does anyone have any recommendations for headphones or earbuds for little kids?

There are occasional times...such as this evening...when it would be nice to have a pair of headphones for my 5 year old.

This particular evening my home is filled with teenage boys. Eight to be exact. All the TV's are in use for video games and the dining room table is occupied with boys playing "Magic: The Gathering". For those who aren't schooled in teenage boy diversions, 'Magic' is a card game. Or perhaps it's GEEKY teenage boy diversion, but oh well.

In any event, one of the boys brought a portable DVD player which my 5 year old is using to watch a movie, since she can't use the big TV. BUT...all the video games are so loud that she's having trouble hearing the movie. She's using a pair of headphones one of the boys brought but they don't fit her very well.

There have been some other times when having a pair of headphones that fit her well would have been great.

Anyone have any recommendations?

(And I'm fully aware that using headphones for a little kid probably isn't recommended to begin with, but about five times a year they would be VERY handy.)

My little kids will balst the ear buds if they get a hold of them so I try to keep them put away and have the little kids use old school stlye.

Dh bought the kids some sony ear phones at Cmas, they cover the ears, but instead of having a headband they little ear clips next to each speaker, kind of like those phones.

I love that style b/c ear buds make my ears hurt, and they're not as loud as ear buds.

I opened this thread to tell about these too! They are called Mushy or something like that. We have a penguin pair, frog pair, and the monkey pair, they are so cute!

Target also has three different types of kids' headsets. They all have volume control so the kids cannot turn it up too high.
