I have been itching, mainly on my legs and back for about a week and a half now. It seems like it gets worse at night. When the itching first started, I was broke out in little pimple-like bumps all over my back, some on my legs and a patch on my arm. It wasnt clusters of them, but more like 5 or 6 bumps spread over a small area.

The bumps were very itchy but now they have went down and there are just scabs. (yuck) But I am still itching like crazy. I am scratching everyday until I have big red marks all over my legs. Its driving me nuts.

I havent changed meds, soap, detergent or anything that I can think of. The only thing different that happened was I walked out in the grass one day and some weeds (not poison ivy or anything like that) made my legs itchy. But that was about 2 weeks ago.

Ive been using Cortizone but that isnt helping at all. Any suggestions or ideas?

Cortizone was going to be my suggestion, dammit. What about benadryl? Topically or orally, that could ease the itching. I wonder if the skin is super dry now, from all the itching? Perhaps eucerin or the like?

A bit of oatmeal in a lukewarm bath?

Aveeno makes a great cream that helps with poison ivy, bug bites and excema. I've had excema for years, and I get poison ivy if I stand down wind from it.

Any fever? How are you feeling otherwise? I second the Benadryl suggestion. There is also a topical Benadryl cream. I don't know how effective it is, as I've never used it, but it might help.

Any discharge? Or dry scabs?
