okay a couple questions....sorry!

1. is there any special foods that will help increase supply? i have enough now but i am going to be needing to pump and i want to help keep my supply up.

2. i have heard that sometimes while breastfeeding you may get stuck at a certain weight until you are done nursing. is that sometimes true? should i quit stressing (as long as i'm eating healthy and getting some exercise) until after he's done nursing?

3. i heard not to eat gassy food like broccoli (sp?) and stuff. He is 7 months now. is it okay to start working those in my diet a little bit now?

Most mothers can eat anything they want and their babies are just fine. How much weight do you want to lose?

Checkout www.lowmilksupply.org for great info on increasing milk supply. Are you going back to work and that is why you need to pump?

What type of pump do you have?

Most moms are able to pump while at work to get enough milk to feed baby the day they work. Also, a hospital grade rental pump may do a much better job of removing milk. For more info on going back to work--if that is an issue--go to my website www.thenewbornbaby.com and check out pumping and working. Also, pumping one breast while the baby feeds on the other can work really well as the pump "rides" on the let downs the baby triggers.
