So far yes but, I have only PT one boy so it could have just been him rather then his whole gender.

tis what I've heard. But, dd1 was just as hard to potty train as ds was, so I'll let you know after dd2 is potty trained, k?

I really think it's different for everyone. I know families with boys that learned quickly, others that did not; same with girls.

All 3 of my boys had no problems and learned very quickly at a pretty young age (under 3). No girls to compare to.

IME, yes. Although there is a case that DD learned so fast because she saw DS go through the process. We are still having occasional accidents with DS (4). DD (3) rarely has them. Overall, he's had more problems, but neither were difficult to train.

I don't think they are harder they just take longer.

My son was pretty easy to potty train, we just waited a little longer than we did with the girls. Like many boys he just wasn't ready as soon as the girls were.

no, I knwo every kid is differnt and has different needs and ways of learning, my ds is starting to show a few signs that he may want to try potty training, and he is 18 months, my twins dd wasnt pt till 3.5. same parenting same everything, just soem kids are ready before others.
but not acording to my mil, "because boys pt late" I am being a cruel mommy by giving him a potty chair and putting him on the toilet when he wants on :)

My oldest was easy to train, my youngest was incredibly difficult to train, and both are boys. It just depends on the kid.

3 of my children were very easy to potty train, DS#2 being the hardest. At least that is what I thought when I was going through it. In reality though, he was very easy, he just wanted it to be done in his own time - which was a month away from turning 4. He was "trained" in one day....came running up the stairs to use the potty and never looked back.
Actually, my other children were pretty much like that as well, just earlier. DD is the only one that will still have accidents. She's such a heavy sleeper and won't feel the urge to pee. As long as she goes pee before bed, then she is fine, provided she hasn't had alot to drink before going to bed either. The boys were night trained from the beginning as well as day trained. I think I can count on one hand the number of accidents the boys had a night - combined!

My own experiece with my own children leads me to say yes. But we're talking about 12 girl, 2 boys. Not exactly a big survey or anything.

I have two boys but they couldn't have been easier to 'train'. They both taught themselves (the oldest was 3.5 the other just turned 3 at the time). Both figured it out once and were pretty much trained from that moment. They were dry 24/7 within a week. When the first one did it I thought for sure the second was going to be a bear to teach but he did the exact same thing as his brother six months sooner. I'm obviously a pretty big believer in the concept that they'll do it when they are ready.
