She's getting awards because she's talented. She IS doing a good job wrt to her singing.

I agree with the OP though, asking the drug dealers to stop dealing to her is not going to work. She's going to have to kick this addiction on her own.

It reminds me of Robert Downey Jr. He's a very talented actor that has struggled with his drug addiction for years.

I really do like (some of) her music, however, I believe she will be dead in the next year. I see her becoming the next (I almost hate to type this) Janice Joplin.

I feel bad for her family but they can't help her if she wont help herself. And there is not a single drug dealer who'd not sell to her if she has the money he has the dope.
