Has anyone seen this movie? DH and I watched it tonight because we had heard how hilariously funny it was. Well, other than the last 10 minutes of the movie, we both thought it was horrible. I actually couldn't believe that I continued to watch it through the end, it really was that bad! (for us I guess)
I mean, it's not like I'm a prude, I don't mind the use of swearing, hell, I swear quite a bit myself, but I felt like "fuck" (and variations there of) was used waaaay too much!!

Didn't see it, but I think I'm one of the few that I know who didn't even WANT to see it, when the advertisements were on TV.

I loved it when I was pregnant, but I watched it with my mom last week and thought differently. I think it got an accommodation for the most swearing in any movie ever. I was truly sickened by the language this past time. The idea was cute though.

I never figured out why everyone was all hyped up about this movie. I thought it mediocre at best.

I watched it and thought it was pretty good. Not the best I've seen. As far as the language, it has been a while since i've seen it but I remember more use of the f word in Superbad. That movie was SUPER BAD. It was terrible.
What I found amusing was the fact that my 20 yo nephew thought Knocked up was hillarous, especially when watching with another guy.

I thought it was great, but then again I don't get offended easily. I wouldn't put up with the language IRL, but it was just a movie, so what-ev.

I certainly don't get offended easily! LOL but I just don't think that kind of language needed to be there in order to make the movie what it was. Just ask my hubby, I can swear with the best of them!!
Mamasmilk, that's exactly what we thought it was...boring.

Me too. I'm not exactly one of those people that you would expect to like those movies, either, but I did. I can't really put my finger on why.

Same here.
I thought the point of all the swearing was the single bachelor lifestyle.
