possible thrush??????

I have been breastfeeding for about 10 wks now and suddenly I have started feeling sharp pains shooting in my breasts and sore nipples. My daughter doesnt seem to have any symptoms of thrush. When she first latches on it hurts but then its fine. She is not crying when she feeds and she doesnt seem fussy. Am I doing something wrong? I am new at it and I dont want to give up. Any suggestions?

You have symptoms of yeast. Baby does not have to have signs but it may be only a matter of time. I recommend you and baby be treated together. I find Gentian Violet works well because it works on you and baby!although messy. Any antifungal cream on your nipples after nursing is fine. APNO is my favorite but is perscription.
