At what point is it to late to increase your supply?

My daughter is 5 months old, she is on the small side. I do supplement with formula, but I would love to get rid of it. She doesn't tolerate it well.

While everyone's supply depends on so many factors like breast cup size increase during pregnancy, hormonal balances (your period/thyroid), medicines youv'e taken, and emptying of the breasts the 1st 4 weeks postpartum,
It is never too late to try!

Can you tell me what the breast increase during pregnancy has to do with it?

Yes, breast cup size should increase 2 sizes (but not always, I know a few 34 a's out there with good supply). That is, if you were a B you should be atleast a D.
This is due to mammary gland tissue that grows during pregnancy.
For people post breast reduction, this can be a real problem becuse some very important areas may be removed and there is know way to know which areas may grow.
So in very few cases, supply is what it is.

Well that certaintly didn't happen for me. I might have went up 1/2 a size. I never knew that could be a factor.

P.S. I like your super powers icon. My friends at work say I transform into a lactation "wonderwoman" when I arrive because I can almost always get a baby to latch when they have been trying for hours.
