Yesterday I was carrying my cat to show him where his litter box is. I moved it on him so I was bringing him to show him the new spot for it. Well while I was carrying him his hind claw got my nipple and put a cut along it. I just want to know is there anything special i should do to make sure it don't get infected or anything like that? Also when I tried pumping last night it started bleeding. Should I hold off on pumping or should I just keep pumping? Thanks for any input.

Ouch! Is the cat still alive? You should be cautious as a staph infection could set in but hopefully and probably not. Keep nipple clean and watch for pussy drainage. I would get APNO (LMK if you don't know what this is).
I would either turn down the suction on pump or gently hand express until healed so as not to cause more trauma.
I'm still cridging with pain. Hope it heals soon. You may try silverettes too. Alot of mom's love them.

Yes the cat is still alive !!!!!!!!! Against my better judgement. I have no idea what APNO is I also have no idea what silverettes is either. Can you tell me where to buy them? I think I can do the hand expressions. Thank you.
