double weight?

Ive been seeing alot of "most babies double weight by 2-4 months"

My son was born 9 lbs 1 oz and at four months weighed 13lbs 10 oz. Seems content after nursing. Should I be concerned?

**my reason for posting is that we have moved and don't have what i consider an "up to par" doc as of yet.

Doing the math, your baby is gaining at the considered minimum which is fine. Certainly nothing to worry about. Happy, growing, baby with lots of wet and dirty diapers....excellent.
Be sure to get a referral for a Doc soon though so when you need one you have one.
Personally I would look up an LC in your area (go to the LC directory on this site) and ask her for a breastfeeding friendly Ped.

thats a great idea (BFing friendly doc). I don't know how the docs are but i find, generally speaking, here in Canada ppl are more pro bfing then the us...thanks for the input.
