Df and I have had a rough few weeks. We have been at odds with each other for one reason or another. I think it is mostly stress about him leaving. Tomorrow is the big day. He will leave us early in the morning and be gone for a minimum of 6 weeks.
Today was a bad and good day. My grandma fell and broke her other hip. She is on Kubidin (sp?) so they delayed surgery until they get her blood under control. She is 83 and it is doubtful she will fare well through this surgery. She went through this 10 years ago and I am sure this is a step back for her.
The good part was that we had Df's family over for dinner (MIL too). We ate and talked for a while. Every one had a great time and his family gave us some money to help us through this tough time. I am so thankful. After they left, we walked DF's dog who lives with MIL until we can take him. It looked like it would storm so we took the dog back but DF, me and the baby went back outside in the rain to pick the berries we saw while walking. I have about 4 cups of the most delicious wild berries to share with df before his long journey! This will be a day to remember. Picking berries in the rain.
I pray for a safe journey from PA to Georgia. I am missing him already.
