Should I be doing something differently with my 10 month old??....
All of a sudden she has gotten pretty clingy. She doesn't want to sleep longer than 20 minutes during the day, if we're lucky. She will hardly sleep at all while at daycare unless it is in my arms. (We cosleep, so night time is not really an issue, though she has had a harder time settling down lately.) Also, she is still nursing every 2 hours or so, sometimes a little shorter or longer. I do offer her solids 3 or 4 times a day, but not very much of them. Should I be giving more or less solids at her age? I am not sure how much I should offer. She just seems to want to be in my arms all day and night. I don't think she is teething, but am just not sure what to do. We are going on vacation at the end of the week, and I'm a little worried about how she'll be with all the new faces! But I'm sure she'll be fine....anyways. Just wondering if you had any suggestions for eating/sleeping! :)

She knows what she likes, and that's you.
She's old enough to try really hard to get what she wants.

If you are offering solids and she just isn't taking them, then she'll take em when she's ready. Have you tried a cheerio on the high chair tray? does she have the pincher grasp? some really don't want anything to do with baby food.

She is probably teething. Most babies start by now. Heck both of mine had bottom teeth by 6.5 months, with tops coming in a couple months after that. Check for red or swollen gums and extra drooling.

She may be getting extra clingy right before a big thing like pulling up and trying to walk!!

About the time you get these little buggers figured out, they change everything on you. She seems pretty normal to me. I'll assume she's meeting developmental milestones, eh?

I was totally thinking the same thing. My ds was just a little cling on right before he perfected the inch worm crawl.

Are you doing baby food or finger foods? Maddie was not so into the baby foods. Maddie is 11 months. She nurses around 7am then has some cut up fruit and either yogurt or cheerios. She has lunch between 11-12. She nurses then has some cut up veggies and lunch meat or something like that. She has dinner between 3-4pm and nurses then has pasta or rice and veggies. Then she nurses again between 7-8pm and goes to bed.

She eats solids very well...she will eat anything I give her, whether table foods or baby food! She is not picky. Lol. I am just wondering whether I should be offering her more than I am. I know all of the other babies her age are eating much more...but then they are not bf babies. She loves to nurse and does it all the time! She is already pulling up and cruising around everything, so maybe she will be standing on her own soon.
