Not sure if I can post this here so if I can't I will delete my post!
I am just wondering if anyone has any winter maternity clothes they want to get rid of? If so, PM me and we can discuss the details - I am willing to pay of course, I just haven't found anything decent and refuse to pay the ridiculous price of new and even what they are asking at some consignment shops is outrageous. I just need some cute jeans and sweaters basically - if this pregnancy is like the last I won't even need maternity clothes until I am 5 or 6 months so it would be really stupid to spend a lot of $ for that short of time. (I need M or L pants and L tops if anyone has any) Thanks!!

Oh, no! I wish I would have known a few weeks ago. I recently gave all my maternity clothes to a women's shelter. My last dc was born in Jan. We hadn't planned on any other dc so most of it was only worn during this one pregnancy. :( I would have been happy to send it to you!

What size are you CanC? I was just looking through my stuff to post on the Community Rummage Sale over at IHMMB next week. I'd be happy to email you pics of my stuff if it will fit. It's mostly M and L. I am a size 10-12 non-pregnant.

That is okay Pamire - I am glad you gave it to the women's shelter - I used to work for one so I know that it will be very much needed and appreciated by them!! :)
Sameach - I am a size 10/12 also! I will PM you if that is okay - thanks!

Check on Ebay. I got a lot of my maternity clothes that way, and if you are diligent, you can find them for really good prices.

Really? I check there all the time and the lots usually have only one or two things I like and the separate items have ridiculous shipping prices. I guess I just don't check at the right times. (and I have to be a lot more careful with my money than I did before so that could be why too - I used to just buy whatever for whatever it cost)

I will check through my closet and see what sizes I have I am a 14, so a little bigger. But maybe something will work. Pm and I will let you know tomorrow.

I always select the option "ending soonest" that way I can snag last minute cheap auctions. I watch a lot of items. When I was pregnant with dd, I got two pairs of ON cargo pants for $6 (that included shipping).

Also, our local Goodwill and Salvation Army have a maternity section. Do you want me to look for stuff for you? The last sat. of each month, Goodwill has everything in the store 1/2 off. I can scour the racks for you, if you want me to. Last month, I picked up a maternity jean skirt by Oh Mama for 1/2 price (ended up being $2). No, I am not pregnant. :p

Thanks so much for your help - I never thought to select the ending soonest - duh, and I have been doing ebay for a long time now - LOL. Tis hard to find stuff for short people though, but if it is cheap enough I can get it hemmed. You don't have to look for me, but if you just "happen" to be there you could look for me - LOL :)

ETA: You posted while I was still typing - I will check those links out and now that you mention it, I will probably be hot most of the time also! Oh, and my good friend told me that she searches for misspelled auctions and has gotten great deals that way because no one bid on the items. Not sure what I would type in for the search, but that is an idea also.

I search for vintage tupperware by misspelling. It may not work unless you are doing a brand specific search. IDK. I will keep my eyes open for jeans and cute tops.

I know I can find these much cheaper - just a matter of searching! My friend offered to watch my kids at my next dr.'s apt so I can go to the consignment shop to see if I can find anything! :)

Woo hoo! I found a pair of black Liz Lange black maternity bermuda shorts BRAND NEW WITH TAGS at the consignment shop for $8!!!! (I just spent $14 at Walmart so taking them back) Their pants were dirt cheap - like $4.99, but their plain t-shirts were the same price which didn't make any sense to me because they were old and dingy. (and new prob $7 on sale)

Awesome! Yeah, some consignment shop owners don't go to stores to compare their prices. "lol9" This weekend we are hitting two goodwills to look for half price stuff. I will keep an eye out for size medium stuff for ya. :)

Yeah, their baby clothes were marked the same as new too (well, new when on clearance, but still). Thanks for looking for me!! I sooo appreciate it! :)
