The pain in my back right now is so unbearable where I can't get out of bed or even move from side to side lying down. My DS is 2 months old and is exclusively beastfed right now.

I don't know about aleve, I'm sure someone will, but ibuprofen is safe, and for me works better on back pain than aleve.

I already tried ibuprofen last night and it hasn't helped :(

How much? you can take up to 800mg. I hope you can get some relief, it is stinks to have your back out and kids to tote around too.

I took 2 regular strength last night. My DH is staying home from work today to help me out :) and my dad came by to drop off the aleve. We don't have aleve here in Canada and he had bought some over in Buffalo NY for my grandfather cause he used to have a very hard time getting around (lives on a farm) and he takes one a day and feels great now!

my doctor told me no on the aleve. It's the only thing that works for my aches and pains and he said not to take it at all. not sure the exact reason, but of course every doctor has a different answer. could you call a lactation consultant and ask?

Well I think I am off to the ER and hopefully get some xrays done. The pain is far more worse than it was for my c-section.
