I'm scheduled to have the procedure tomorrow.
Any tips? Would you mind sharing your experience?

My DH had it in 2000 I believe. I didn't know him then but from what he has told me he wished he could have had it done sooner. He had a great experience and 7yrs later still has great vision with no need for glasses.

My MIL had it years ago. Her eyes are sometimes dry now, and she has to put drops in them, but she doesn't need glasses or contacts most of the time now. I think she still wears glasses to drive.

My dh just had it in May. He's still got some dry eye issues but overall he's happy. I've been told that I will most likely need reading glasses sometime after I turn 40 but I think that's better than all the time like now.
Both experiences sound positive. Thanks!

My sis, BIL, cousin, and a few friends have had it and are so pleased with the results.
I can't wait to get it done!

I had mine done by the same Dr who did Tiger Woods eyes. I still have to wear glasses, but they are much much thinner. I am older than most of you and had 20/450 vision though, so you may expect better results.

my friend has her eyes done a year ago. She doesn't need glasses anymore and is really happy. I remember she was light sensitive for a couple days, but other than that no problems.

Best thing I ever did for myself!
Take the valium, get rest the first day after/ Keep those eye drops going as instructed. I had it done in february and still use the eye lube once a day. I was about 6 times a day for the first couple weeks after the surgery. My doc assured me you can't over do it when it comes to the lube drops.
Did you take all of the drops you were prescribed up to the surgery? It does make a difference.

My best friend has lasik and it improved her vision immensely. She still needs corrective lenses but it's not nearly what it what before.
