I'm looking for comfortable shoes. My feet hurt all the time. I can't wear flat shoes for very long because they hurt my heels. Summer sandal type shoes so far are rubbing the skin off the top of my feet. Ideas?

Don't ask me - I'm all about form, not function. And I don't have foot problems, so I can wear most shoes pain-free.

What do you wish to spend? If you can go to a higher price point, there are many shows made for specific types of arches. My husband has very flat feet and most shoes hurt him after wearing them for several hours. We have found that getting shoes made for flat feet have helped him immensely.

They aren't cheap though, but I think comfort is worth cost.

I have normal or maybe slightly high arches. I don't normally spend more than $90 for a pair of shoes, but I'd be willing to make an exception. I have Clark's shoes which I've always liked, but this year they're taking my skin off - probably because I'm doing a lot of walking and my feet get sweaty so they slide in the shoe.

I have high arches and crocs work great for me, I can't do the flip flops though. :(
