I was wondering if anyone has heard of the herb fenugreek, if it is safe the the baby or not? I have read some things that say it is and other that say not.

Yep, a lot of mommies here have taken it with no issues. I am one of them. It didn't work that well for me. However, there are some here who it has worked for.

Fenugreek is in the same family with peanuts and chickpeas, and may cause an allergic reaction in some moms who are allergic to these things.

Why do you feel like you need fenugreek?

Many women who take it and don't actually need it end up having problems with increased gassiness, fussiness, and green stools in their babies.

My milk supply is decreasing alot because I went back to work. I pump at work but can't pump as much as if my son was actually nursing for them. My job duties don't allow me but two times to pump a day. Because of this the daycare has to give him formula some of the day. It constipates him and he won't go for a few days.
