or wean myself gradually?

I am going back to work soon and can't nurse/pump from 12:00 - 6:00. I'm not worried about my supply because I successfully did this last school year.

Should I just quit nursing dd during these times cold turkey? I am going to try to nurse/pump at 11:30 and 6:00 to start training my body to make milk then.

I can't imagine honestly just stopping nursing during a time of the day but that is because when my DS wants to nurse, he will take nothing else! Your situation may allow for that.

I am not sure what the technical response to this is but it is my instinct that quitting cold turkey is a bad idea, could lead to clogged ducts and whatnot. Someone else will know for sure probably.

I would see about gradually decreasing the nursings slowly (maybe get down to nursing once during that period before getting back to work)

If do you cold turkey you risk getting plugged ducts. My first plugged duct was due to not pumping my usual 2 pumpings during work. And it was a PITA!

Thanks for the help. Ugh, going back to work is so hard. I really need to win the lottery that I don't play.
