I think it would quickly become my DD's favorite, but I'd have to resign myself to the knowledge that it would get "pretty" with my lipstick, be left naked in the rain, get a haircut...

no, it is a 30 dollar doll. Above my comfort level for something that my dd will destroy. That and I'm cheap.

My dd has Bitty Baby, so I don't think $30 is too much. In hindsight I wish I had never purchased cheap-o Target dolls. We had too many baby dolls. I packed them all up and kept out their bitty baby's and the Waldorf style dolls I made for them. I wish I'd stuck to the Waldorf style dolls in the first place. I think one special doll per dd for them to really love is better than lots of cheapie baby dolls.
