My DH said they are calling an emergency meeting at the ISD he works for and they may be sending my dds home bc the hurricane has stalled and is turning north and can possibly head right at us. I am at work and if this thing hits they may not let me go home! There are tornado sightings all around us and I WANT TO GO HOME!!!!! My mom and my baby are there alone!!!!!! Please pray for those of us on the coast we need lots of T&P right now.

Things are looking better as far as the hurricane but the tornado thing is not getting better. The eye of the hurricane has begun to make land fall south of us but we are expected to get a lot of wind and heavy rain later today and possibly more tornados. The weather here looks really weird right now, its almost pitch black and very very calm.

Well we are getting a lot of wind right now but so far no dangerous weather conditions. They have advised us to stay indoors at this time. There is more rain to come though and tornado watch is still in effect.

Well we made it through, it was a windy and rainy night but all is well except for a few broken branches and some very nervous dogs. They were in the covered porch but they were standing on their hind legs looking in our back door with eyes like saucers. It is still very windy here but not as bad as it was yesterday. Thanks for all the T&P.
