Do any of you know a bullmastiff breeder?

No, Sorry.

Are they large dogs requiring a snow shovel to scoop the poop?

I know very little about dogs.

Yes, they are large dogs. The one puppy we are looking into is from large parents. His dad is 140lbs and his momma is 110 lbs.

No snow shovel for the poop though. lol

He'll be brindle colored like this one here:

They are cute puppies. Reminds me of the Cleveland Browns logo.

I believe he is a bull dog, which does make it very close. The bullmastiff breed comes from breeding bulldogs with mastiffs.

The best way to find a good reputable breeder would be to contact the Bullmastiff Club of America. There is probably one for PA and Ohio too. :)

Good thinking. lol

We found some people about 3 hours away and I can't help but be excited. They have three kids and the puppies are used to them which is a huge plus. She seemed right on target with how we raise our dogs. We probably will be going there to see him in the next two weeks. The price is a little more than I would like, but we are getting a good history and welcoming another person into our home basically. I much rather know how their family history runs than get a dog from someone who has no clue.

I had a doxie before he tried to bite my dd and thats about as big as I can go! A bull mastiff's shit is as big as a dachshund!!! Big shit=big flies=gross!! Wasn't cujo a mastiff??? I'm just messing with ya... I hear they're very loyal dogs. There's a newscaster here in Cleveland that has 2 small children and a mastiff that she brings on tv often and that dog is a gentle giant.

Although they aren't my first choice Mastiffs are lovely dogs. I prefer big massive working dogs though, so they get extra points just for that.

I know of a breeder near the MI/IN border. Wasband #1 and his gf breeds them. They wanted me to take their 3yo male because he loved dd1 so much. I told him I'd rather have a horse. ;)

I would look on AKC.org. They have a breeder list AND a rescue list that go by state.
