View Full Version : Prayers and good thoughts needed (warning)

The daughter of a friend of mine went into the hospital after her water broke yesterday. She was pregnant with twin boys, and had twin to twin transfer issues.

They were very early, and one of them survived. His name is Conner, and he is barely clinging to life. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Essentially, one of the twins was getting too much blood, nutrition etc. and it was taxing his heart, and the other one was not getting enough of the blood and nutrients and he was underweight. It can kill twins if it's bad enough.

They were only 23 weekers, the fact that Conner is still alive is a miracle.

Prayers for this family. We just had this happen to a family here a couple months back. One baby is doing great and is home. The other is still in the hospital. She has had kidney problems and blood pressure too.

They are in my prayers. Molly's neighbor is a 23 weeker. Definitely a miracle!

a singleton that is a 23 weeker has a lot better chance than a male twin 23 weeker... he has blood pressure and oxygen issues, among other things. I'm really hoping he survives. They expected Gage to not make it, I guess (due to the transference issues) but they are hopeful for Conner.
