pumping needs for 2 month old

when i go back to work, my LO will be 8wks old. how much should I expect to need to pump at each session to keep up with him. Right now, we mostly bf throught the day, and give one pumped bottle before bed that is 3.5 - 4 oz and he sucks that right down. Right now I pump 3oz from my right and 1+oz from my left.....

You didn't mention how long between pumping or nursing that you expressed 4oz total. Most babies will finish a bottle much quicker than when they are nursing. It can vary on how much you can expect to pump. Many women pumping at work will average expressing around 1oz per hour, but it can be more.

Pumping more from one side over the other is normal.

Make sure after you return to work that you express long enough and often enough to keep your breast emptied well.
