I Want to stop breastfeeding but don't know how to go about it can you help?

How old is your baby? How often does he or she nurse now? Does your baby eat solid food at this point? Does your baby take bottles? We can help you, but more information would be helpful.

I just got done weaning, and my main piece of advice is to do it slowly and you shouldn't have any problems. I quit one nursing/pumping session every week or so, i got down to once a day and noticed that my nipples hurt a little. I think he was sucking for milk, but there wasn't much in there, so it made them sore, that is when i took away the last session. Since then about once a week my boobs have felt a little lumpy, so i have hand expressed some milk out to get the lumps out. It has been about three weeks since I quit nursing and I haven't had any problems yet. Other than the shrinking boobs. lol.
