The Prince isn't feeling well...I had to pick him up from daycare b/c he had a 100.4 fever....
he is SO not himself. he's just like blah.
I gave him some Tylenol to help reduce the fever. he's sleep now. I'll take his temp again when he wakes up....
I don't like it when my buddy is like this

Is he teething? My ds runs fevers when he's teething. Not fun at all. Hope he feels better soon!

Mine is feeling the same way. Fever up and down for 2 days. Ped says she has a mild ear and throat viral infection. she just cuddles with me and looks so sad.
I took off work yesterday and spent the most awesomest 4 hours in bed napping with her :)
big hug and kiss to your prince today. I hope he is up and feeling better soon.

just a thought, when little ones have fevers they eat less, so sometimes if you pump when they are blah, you don't lose you milk supply. I hope is feeling better soon!!!!!!!

How old? Can you use baby motrin? Loose clothes, cool but not too cool baths. Any extra fluid you can get in, try breast milk slushies.

How is he feeling? We try to hold off on medication when kiddo's have a fever. I give tylenol when they feel yucky, but for the most part, try to let the fever do its job.

When the body temp rises it's trying to make the body very unhospitable to any foreign invaders (bacteria, viruses, yeast, parasites, etc.).
Fevers can also occur with the inflammation pathway is initiated; inflammation is a response of a tissue to injury.
If my kids have fever related to teething and are hurting, I will usually medicate them. But I don't usually medicate either for fever when they're sick unless they are just miserable.
