I have waited until my little ones were well established with breastfeeding before introducing the bottle at least 6 weeks or so and haven't had any "nipple confusion". I've used the Avent bottles and the Gerber Nuk bottles and haven't had any issues with breastfeeding and using the occasional bottle.
Good luck!

Here are a few good ones,

I have been meaning to post this for awhile now, because I think that what nipples you use are crutial to getting back on track with bfing. If your baby gets used to fast flow nipples they will not want to work to get milk from the breast. Also you want to find one that is shaped more like your own nipple. It should be large around with a small 'nipple' end. The baby should latch on to the "areola" part of the nipple just like with your breast.
You need a slow flow nipple. Here are some that I have found:
Nuk bottles have nipples with the hole on the side. (This is what I recommend) This makes the baby work harder to get milk out. You will need size 'small' for the slowest flow possible.

I was recommended the Gerber bottle from my LC. Again, you will need size 's'.

I have also heard good things about the Avent bottles. You will need "newborn" size.

It may be neccesary to try more than one type. Feel free to ask for help. Good luck mommas!
I've never tried the breastflow, but as long as it has a slow flow it should be good. Do make sure breastfeeding is established first. The key is to nurse more often than not.

The breastflow is a really good one for preventing bottle nipple preference. Babies can prefer bottles b/c their flow is faster and easier to express milk from than the breast. The breastflow bottles make babies work a little harder for their milk (like the breast does).

I have used these http://www.playtexproductsinc.com/infant/bottleFeeding_nurser.asp since DD was bout 6 or 8 weeks old and have never had a problem with nipple confusion.

It may take her some time to get used to a bottle, my little one was messy the first couple of weeks that I was using them. I used the playtex with the natual latch ( make sure the nipples are slow flo) the latex ones are faster then the silicone one to. The latex nipples are brown, the silicone are clear. Anyway, that is the one that I use. may not work for everyone

With dd, it was whatever bottle she would take. We ended up using the basic Gerber bottle, and kept her at the newborn/slow flow nipple until she stopped needing it at daycare.
After having problems with ds and nipple confusion, I had a very strict rule that when I was around there were to be no bottles for baby. The only time she had them was at daycare.

I use the breastflow with my daughter (9 weeks old) and it works very well. We had also tried the Soothie and the Nuk, but she would only take the breastflow.

I use Born Free and he's been fine with them. We tried Second Nature and he couldn't get it to work (he's had about 10 bottles in 7 1/2 months)

We liked the wider Gerber ones with the slow flow nipples . . . they work well for feeding baby raccoons too . . .

I use the BreastFlow botles as well and have had no problems switching between bottle and breast. In fact, I do believe it to be due to these bottles that my DD learned to open wider which improved her latch and got her back to the breast. I'd hold out introducing a bottle as long as I could if it were me.
