Need more milk!!!

I have an almost 3-week-old and I'm only producing about 1oz to 1.5 oz every 2-3 hours. I am already pumping (every 3 hours) and supplementing with formula per the lactation consultant. I really want to breast feed exclusively, but my baby was not getting enough milk from me and she actually started losing weight.

Anyone have any advice on how I can increase my milk supply? Does Fenugreek work? I'm getting desperate!

skip the bottles and just nurse more until you get the meds or fenugreek. order a Supplemental nursing system from medela you can find one on ebay for reasonable. just look up SNS or for short term you can just get a starter sns for cheap. i would just use that and put formula in it. it will work while you need it. the higher you hold it up the faster the flow so hold it low on your chest
